Much like its predecessor, the HT801/802 v2 delivers powerful VoIP technology and routing capabilities and is ideal for both home and office environments, allowing users to successfully connect their analog devices to a manageable, robust network.     The v2 models offer the same feature set and from the outside look more or less indistinguishable from the v1 models, but that’s where the similarities end. On the inside, the v2 products have had a massive glow-up thanks to an entirely new hardware platform based on modern components and chipsets, with completely new firmware and a much more modern and intuitive web user interface.   T38Fax has successfully completed interoperability testing with Grandstream’s HT801/802 v2 series ATAs and, after a few important T.38-specific fixes from Grandstream’s engineering team, we have certified the new model for use with our Power-T.38 SIP trunks. The original model will continue to be supported, but we highly recommend purchasing the HT801/802 v2 due to upgrades in the devices’ interface, usability, and hardware and firmware.    The HT801 v2 and HT802 v2 have been thoroughly tested by our interop testing team and work flawlessly with our Power-T.38 service. We’ve gathered screen shots and recommended best practices and assembled them into a new Knowledge Base Article devoted to the v2 products, which you can find here:   [![Grandstream HT801/802 v2 Knowledge Base Article](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/447672/258c7177-f66c-4a19-bdc1-e194f0b22c84.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/447672/258c7177-f66c-4a19-bdc1-e194f0b22c84)   ### Put T38Fax to the test Start leveraging the power of T38Fax with the HT801 or HT802 v2 by taking advantage of our [30-day free trial ](https://my.t38fax.com/signup)and be up and running in minutes. - Get instant activation via our online signup form. - Receive a $25 calling credit, which should more than cover all of the testing you’ll want to do. - Enjoy unlimited free technical support and take our support team for a spin, too.
